The Donalda Public Library is located in Donalda, Alberta, Canada.

We are a small library providing children's, juvenile and adult fiction, Non-fiction, talking and large print books. We have free High Speed internet access and through Parkland Regional Library subscriptions to many Databases. We are now providing computer training courses for all levels. Please contact the library for further information.

Our membership with Parkland Regional Library provides many supports in cataloguing books, computer support, ordering new books and an expansive resource/reference book lending component.


Membership fees are $5.00 per year for a family. Children 17 years and under are free. With your Donalda Library Membership you receive full borrowing privileges at Donalda's Library and all TAL (The Alberta Library) member libraries.

This card permits you to:

1. borrow books from any participating library (approximately 240 member libraries in Alberta). 2. conveniently return  materials to any participating library
and 3. eliminates non resident or community borrower fees.

With your Donalda Library Membership card you can place holds on books on the iPAC and those holds are mailed either to the member or to the Donalda Library for pickup.

Also, with your Donalda Membership you receive a TAL card which stands for The Alberta Library. This allows you to borrow books from over 240 of Alberta Libraries including the University of Alberta, Colleges etc. As well you can Search databases of articles and Alberta library catalogues, request library materials or read articles online. As well The Donalda Library is in partnership with the Government of Canada through the Community Access Program. This partnership allows all members of the Donalda Library to access the Internet through the library computers for free.
